Day 2 - Tour A : La Chanvrière + Hemp farm du Buzio (in English)

You are invited to select your afternoon activity. You can either visit the showroom, participate in business meetings or take a tour of your choice. (limited to 20/40 participants depending on the tour).

Tour A : 2 visits centered on all the riches of the plant, from its agricultural production to its initial stage of industrial transformation.
First, come and discover the plant cultivation site and learn about the hemp farmer’s profession. Hemp producers are often organized in CUMA: an Agricultural Equipment Cooperative, where farmers pool resources (machines, labor, warehouses…) necessary for their activity. It offers numerous advantages for its members, for the territories, and for innovation.

Then, visit the production unit of La Chanvrière and discover the industrial process of the initial transformation of hemp. La Chanvrière is the leading agricultural cooperative in the production and processing of hemp in Europe. It includes 750 farmers who cultivate over 13,000 hectares of hemp within a radius of 120 km around Troyes.

Tour A is limited to 40 participants.
